About Us
Koleksi was founded by Chelsey Kayla, A female POC, in October 2020. We are based in Strandfontein, Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa.
As a brand we aspire to bring holistic healing and promote a modern take on ancient practices. From meditation to manifestation, we have all the tools you'll need to get started on your spiritual journey. We strongly believe that each individual has their own path to walk and therefore strongly discourage gate-keeping of any open spiritual practice. As a kolektive, we encourage the education and sharing of open traditions and practices as many have done around the world since the beginning of time. We look forward to having you as part of our kolektive!
Our Story
About the brand Koleksi and CEO Chelsey Kayla
Koleksi was birthed in Chelsey Kayla's spirit in 2018 when she started her spiritual journey. From there, the company started off with just a logo and name. The name "Koleksi" is Malay for "collection". The aim was to have a space where people could connect with others and share their daily practices in order to live a more holistic and fulfilling lifestyle.
When the pandemic hit, Chelsey started doing instagram lives on her private page sharing her story and her journey of overall (mental, spiritual, physical and emotional) healing and that drew in a kolektive of its own. It was this very kolektive that inspired her to open an online retail store, with the goal of supplying individuals all over Southern Africa who were also on a path of enlightenment with the tools at affordable prices to add to their daily practices.
Chelsey Kayla holds a Master of Conservation Science degree and strongly believes that we are connected to the earth. The values of Koleksi are aligned with hers which is the preservation of all living things and sustainable use of natural resources. Koleksi is therefore does not make use of any animal products or their derivatives. WE try and keep our carbon footprint down as far as possible and encourage our kolektive to go paperless, recycle/upcycle/reuse all of their products and their packaging as far as possible and also to support small businesses instead of big corporation.
T's & C's Delivery & Returns
Koleksi is not liable for any delays with courier/delivery services.
You as the customer will be liable for communicating with the relevant courier/ delivery company of your choice after your order has been sent off and you have received your tracking number.
REFUNDS
Once payment is made - any refunds (cancelled orders) will include a R10 service fee.
DAMAGES & LOSSES
Any losses delivery/courier from a 3rd part company will not be refunded and Koleksi will not be held responsible for it. However, any damages caused to any of the products during transit may be replaced (not refunded) free of charge (with proof that the item is damaged). Any damages must be brought to the attention of Koleks i via info.koleksi@gmail.com within 24 hours of the parcel being delivered. Anything reported thereafter will not be replaced free of charge. Delivery cost for replacement products will be covered by the customer.
RETURNS
If your order is returned to us due to failure to receive (i.e. but not limited to: not answering your phone, no one to receive, incorrect details, etc) you as the customer will be liable to pay for any costs involved in resending the parcel. The courier cost will not be refunded.
